People’s Park is a fantastic restaurant in a multi-story building. The building was a civil-war witness that has been transformed into an open urban park. It is located in Waukesha, Wisconsin, at 337 West Main Street (WI) in the heart of historic Downtown Waukesha at Clinton and Main. The location is very strategic for locals and tourists.
The Park is Waukesha’s and Lake County’s favorite gastropub. It has three levels of distinctive art exhibitions and a lively ambiance. Outdoor dining with a view is available on the rooftop terrace and bar. The Park is open on the dates and times listed below:
People’s Park was conceptualized in December 2008 by Dan, Jim, and Susie Taylor. They chose to name the place “People’s Park” because their purpose in establishing the place is to make a perfect venue for gathering.
In 2008, the restaurant only used the first floor to start up. In 2010, after a devastating electrical fire, the restaurant was forced to close for ten months. The Park had undergone massive renovation during this period and expanded the restaurant to the second floor and the rooftop deck of the building. At present, the people love the Park because of its unique history, delicious food and friendly environment.
There is a broad collection of human artworks on all three levels of People’s Park. Dan Taylor’s artwork behind the bar is one of the most fascinating and talked-about aspects. The menu has a variety of options that are guaranteed to please any pallet! Since its beginning, People’s Park has been a favorite of locals and guests who appreciate a distinctive atmosphere, exquisite food, and hospitable staff.
A one-of-a-kind dining experience in Waukesha, Wisconsin, includes a selection of homemade appetizers, salads, pastries, and desserts. Try the succulent salmon, chicken, and steak entrees, and do not miss the famed Weekend Brunch and Friday Fish Fry.
There is a separate gluten-free and vegetarian menu, as well as a children’s menu. Due to the Friday Night Live Event, carry-out is currently unavailable on Friday nights from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. It is still available on any day and at any time throughout business hours.
The Park offers the most extensive assortment of specialty Martini and beverages in Waukesha. This selection includes mojitos, margaritas, and a delicious selection of house-made mules. Additionally, customers may experience the restaurant’s unique assortment of bourbons, wines, and specialty beers, as well as desserts and festive holiday drinks.
You may take part in Waukesha’s Festivities, including Friday Night Live, in People’s Park, situated on the corner of Clinton and Main Streets in Historic Downtown Waukesha. Additionally, other Downtown Waukesha activities, such as Silver Bells Holiday Sleigh Rides, Waukesha Art Crawls, and the Waukesha Farmer’s Market, take place beyond the main door.
At People’s Park, the finest parties take place. Guests may reserve the liveliest hot place in Historic Downtown Waukesha for their parties or celebrations. The Park enjoys celebrating every kind of party with its guests, from baby showers to wedding showers. The second floor provides an intimate and one-of-a-kind party experience unlike any other, ideal suited for parties ranging in size from 20 to 60 people. We welcome GE and corporate events.
The Park has a full-service terrace and a creative rooftop. At the same time, the two inside floors are available year-round and are often changed by festive décor. It showcases constantly changing local art shows, ensuring that each visit is unique. Here are the different floors of the Park and their features:
The rooftop is ideal for the warmer months in Wisconsin. Each visitor may take in the distinctive architecture of Downtown Waukesha and soak in the sun while dining in a lively, trendy, and intimate outdoor ambiance. As the sun sets, the rooftop garden, vibrant nightlife bar, and world-famous “People’s Park Holiday Tree” illuminate the sky, creating the ideal setting for an evening. Unsurprisingly, the top of People’s Park has become a popular neighborhood hangout location.
The second level, the most personal eating choice inside, is excellent for bigger parties and events. From the eclectic artwork on the walls to the U-shaped bar excellent for mingling, the second floor is a perfect venue for gathering friends or hosting your next business lunch.
The bar on the first level is embellished with an artful collection of unearthed items portraying persons throughout many decades. It is a bright and sunny corner spot with large windows are open in the summer to provide a European-style open-air ambience. Also, the changing art inspired by people will be a continual source of discussion.
Across the street is the illuminated Holiday Tree that highlights the intersection of Clinton and Main streets.
